Chris Haine

Born 1969. Formerly a Parliamentary researcher and marketing manager working in Vienna. Ran a hotel reservation company. Educated at Northumbria University (Architecture) from 2004. Member of the National Secular Society, the Green Humanist Group, Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Amnesty International. 

Editor of the North of England Green Party newsletter. Contested Primrose ward, South Tyneside Borough Council in 2007.

The main themes of his campaign were:

• Make climate change the political priority of our generation.

• We need more renewable energy and improved insulation.

• Invest more in public transport.
