The Reverend Robert West, 53, lives in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, where he has set up his own church.
Former Army officer, he has a theology diploma and BSc in Economics. He works as a speaker and supply teacher.
A former South Holland District councillor, elected as a Conservative but defected to the BNP in 2006. Contested East Midlands region at the 2009 European elections.
The main themes of his campaign were:
Council accommodation should be for local people, not asylum seekers.
NO to immigration and asylum seekers.
YES to British jobs for British workers.
