Charles Dundas
Charles Dundas is 27. He grew up in Fauldhouse and was educated at Whitburn Academy and Glasgow University. Worked as an accountant before becoming parliamentary assistant to Iain Smith MSP in 2002. He is an ex Predident of Glasgow University Young Lib Dems and served on the Young Lib Dem Executive from 1997 until 2001. Contested the seat in the 2005 general election. Contested Glasgow Springburn in the 2003 Scottish Parliamentary election and Glasgow Baillieston in the 2001 general election.
The main themes of his campaign were:
Scrap the council tax.
No ID cards - More police on the beat.
New primary school needed for Murieston.
