Dick Rodgers
Former orthopaedic surgeon at Birmingham Childrens Hospital. An Anglican Assistant Clergyman, he spent 46 days in a cage as part of a campaign for the release of prisoners of conscience in the USSR. Married to Sue with two sons.
Contested the 2004 European election as an Independent candidate in the West Midlands region. Contested the Hartlepool by-election in 2004 and Birmingham Northfield in the 2005 General Election and Dunfermline and West Fife in the 2006 by-election.
