Born 1965, Liverpool. Educated at Lady Margaret School.
Victim of the Ealing Vicarage Rape in 1986, she later went public, with her book called “Rape: My Story” and has campaigned on behalf of rape victims.
The main themes of her campaign were:
Put victims first in the criminal justice system.
We must keep the national DNA database.
Give the police the tools they need to protect us.
