Charlie Baillie has stood in two local elections and been a Euro candidate for the British National Party. He also stood for Holyrood in 2007. He went to school and was brought up in Springburn.

The main themes of his campaign were:

• House local people first.

• More doctors and nurses - less government targets.

• Re-introduction of full apprenticeships for young people.
