Margaret Curran
Margaret Curran, 49, was
educated at Our Lady and St Francis School, Glasgow. She graduated from
Ms Curran has been the MSP for Glasgow Baillieston since the first elections to the Scottish Parliament in 1999, later holding positions as Deputy Minister for Social Justice and Minister for Communities. She is married with two sons and is a member of the TGWU and the EIS.
The main themes of her campaign were:
Standing up for the East End.
Say No to more SNP broken promises.
Vote for someone who puts the East End before Independence.
