Sarah Edwards
Sarah Edwards has lived in the borough for many years. She works for a national charity which helps victims of crime. Her previous work included setting up a Dial-a-Ride service and managing a volunteer bureau.
She was a founder member of a re-cycling co-op
in West London and has served as a union representative. Contested the seat in the 2005 General
Election.
The main themes of her campaign were:
Invest in energy conservation and clean renewable energy.
Withdraw British troops from Iraq and scrap Trident.
Invest more in public services such as health and education.
