Dick Rodgers
Former orthopaedic surgeon at Birmingham Childrens Hospital. An Anglican Assistant Clergyman, he spent 46 days in a cage as part of a campaign for the release of prisoners of conscience in the USSR. Contested the 2004 European election as an Independent candidate in the West Midlands region. Contested the Hartlepool by-election in 2004 and Birmingham Northfield in the 2005 General Election.
