Carrie Ruxton
Dr Carrie Ruxton (38), from Cupar, is a state registered dietitian with experience in higher education, industry and the NHS. She was born in Fife and was educated in Glenrothes and Crieff before studyng for a BSc and PhD at Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh. Contested Dunfermline East at the 1999 Scottish Parliament election and Northavon in the 2001 General election.
The main themes of her campaign were:
Vote for the New "Liberal" Conservative party.
Build a second Forth Road bridge & oppose a £4 toll.
Save our local services at the Queen Margaret Hospital.
