A Free Presbyterian Minister and well known Gospel singer. He represented Mid Ulster in Parliament 1983-1997 & the NI Assembly 1982-1986. He has also been a member of Magherafelt District Council since 1973.
The main themes of his campaign were:
Don't trust Trimble with our future.
No more concessions to the IRA, no more rewards for Sinn Fein.
Royal Ulster Constabulary to retain its name and emblems.
